Early-Mid

You want to poke until you get tier 2 barrel and extra charge then look for committed trades. I typically try to switch into Mo and Seven on the enemy team for the big head or with a strong laner like Yamato to stomp lane.

Veil Walker

Extra Spirit

Try to hit a barrel every wave on both them and lane creeps, since burst procs on both.

Extra Charge

Jump and melee your barrels to make them explode on impact

Improved Spirit

If you have 1.3k souls or more just save for Rapid then come back to this

Rapid Recharge

Play around your charges. Try to keep a couple up even when farming encase a fight breaks out. If you know there's about to be a fight save your charges

Mystic Shot

If you can't aim or don't like this item it's fine to skip in full. I tend to skip if I am poor

Restorative Locket

Stupid and broken item. Good into ability spammers like Celeste. If you don't like it or can't pilot it just go any of the other T2 greens in Lane Options

Veil Walker

This item is insanely good on this hero. If you don't know how to pilot it you don't have to buy it, but if you do or want to learn it.

Recharging Rush

If you're running throw a barrel behind you after you hit a pad. The enemy will always chase on the pad so it's very easy to hit also you will get +2 movement speed for running.

Stamina Mastery

A lot of people crutch this item, don't become them. Jump and then immediately diagonal air dash for quick movement

Tankbuster

This item does a lot of damage but keep in mind it does current hp damage so it's not that good early in the game. Also you can bounce pad in Doorman ult

Superior Duration

Better now because of barrel burn

Spirit Burn

This is if you're ahead early like you should be on Holiday. If you're not, just go curse and skip Spirit Burn and Escalating

Lane OptionsOptional

You want to stomp lane pre 8 mins so you can invade the enemy sinners on spawn then after you spend your bag look for lassos on other lanes.

Restorative Shot

Buy into active lanes

Reactive Barrier

Bebop, Abrams, or lots of CC. This is a very good item if the enemy comp is high cc

Rusted Barrel

They keep buffign this already op item. Buy into double M1 lane or M1 and support lane

Rebuttal

Amazing anti melee. Good for the base melee res and hp alone

Headshot Booster

Good into Seven and Krill. If you have good aim you can buy this in lane into anyone, but I'm a coach so my aim is awful

Slowing Hex

Super OP if they have dashes buy it.

Monster Rounds

If you need wave clear

Enchanter's Emblem

CDR and regen. Don't be afriad to crackshot lane creeps for clear speed, not being able to headshot waves really slows down your push

Healbane

This item is really good when ahead for early rifts. It just gives you so much hp. Also great for the anti heal

Trophy Collector

RESTO LOCKET IS BETTER. This Item just fits my playstyle more as I play a lot of Calico too

If you see a carry mispositioned in a teamfight barrel spam them. Also look for lassos to start fights. You can curse while in lasso, so use it at the very end.

Damage. You can look down and place a pad to fly right away. This is good after something like Lash ult

OptionsOptional

Learn to air strafe off holiday pads for 5 more meters every time you use one (I have a short on how). Also use your 2 to extend the duration of your lasso and if you instantly dash after hitting a pad you can stop it from knocking you up.

Counterspell

Yamato, Drifter, Pocket or really anything you can read. It is very easy to coutnerspell drifter ult if you're trying to. WIth stun on your 2 you can down dash and counterspell to cancel Dynamo ult

Dispel Magic

Into not ult debuffs. Great if you're getting knockdowned. If you're against kidnap doorman, despelling cart makes that build cosmetic

Divine Barrier

This is great for late game as your barrels kinda fall off and support is over powered. Buy sooner into Pocket

Metal Skin

This item is good into gun burst like Haze or Vyper

Knockdown

Seven, Bebop, Vin, GT, Lash. Buy for any of these, this item is super good

Warp Stone

Good for momement with lasso and getting stuns off your 2. If you warp at the end of a lassso it will slingshot them.

Silence Wave

Item is op Good for indoms or just the cc value

Disarming Hex

Good into fed gun heroes that don't have a dispell

Spirit Luxury

A little in order, but buy as you like. All of these items are good and it depends on the game state.

Cursed Relic

This item is insanley good. Don't forget you can use it to cancel Dynamo mid ult or take off any non ultimate buffs like a bridge buff or Seven's Power Surge

Ethereal Shift

Good item for living into things like wraith ult or lash ult

Mercurial Magnum

Lots of damage on your gun and stacks escalating

Scourge

If the enemy team is hard spirit, put this on your frontline

Plated Armor

Gun/On hits

Spellbreaker

GT, Lash, or any kind of spirit burst. This works on Vin snipe

Indomitable

If they have a lot of smaller but impactful cc like Bebop, Lash, Krill, Ect.

Juggernaut

If they have firerate based damage that isn't on hits

Compress Cooldown

Imbue lasso if it's on cd. Just here so it doesn't pop up asking what you want to imbue

UntitledOptional

You NEED to be agressive on this hero. Pic can have lots of agency if you use your mic and look for plays but you have to be in the enemy jg looking for pics with your team WHENEVER your lasso is up. You can also look for pics on a sidelane.

It is your job to hunt the enemy M1 and stop them for free farming, then stomping the late game, Look to kill them with your lasso and with a teamate. Ideally an assassin. Vision is also important, anytime you aren't showing on map and you have lasso up, you are creating pressure.
