Don't throw your lane before you get to T2 assistant, once you get T2 assistant you can pressure hard and usually force their guardian.

Veil walker is nerfed and new map has less veils so I think this item is better now. Hitting rabbits from invis is way easier and the ambush buff in tandem with rabbit amp lets you solo kill people.

Dispel Magic
Most often defensive buy. Slowing hex is very popular right now and this with assistant up makes you almost immortal.
Warp Stone
All around good survivability item and enables a lot of stolen ults. Usually buy vs pocket / dynamo
Metal Skin
Best anti gun item in the game. Buy if you need it to channel seven / dynamo ult or if you're getting ran down by drifter / haze / silver
Counterspell
Really good in specific matchups. I buy this vs Drifter most often so his ult doesn't cc me for 12 seconds.
Core Items
Delay carpet / trans cd if very behind. Spend your gold if you need to fight don't die with a giant bag saving for carpet.

If you bought shex you can upgrade to this, really strong initiation item from invis.
Echo Shard
Much worse with the recent nerf imo, still obviously strong against grounded teams but I don't really buy this very often.
Scourge
Throw on largest monkey and farm damage, really strong with how much spirit power / duration / range we get
Cursed Relic
If you're a weak minded loser you can buy this. I've literally never bought it but its here because it is good. Makes you an insane catch hero with carpet and weave.
Diviner's Kevlar
Always a solid item after you hit max spirit investment if you don't know what else to buy.
Divine Barrier
OP item, makes you even more untouchable and lets you save teammates too
Full Bolt DamageOptional
If your team does no damage you can start buying these instead of carpet / cdr / duration
Surge of Power
Strong as an early spike if you get it right after shadow weave, falls off later in the game
Tankbuster
Bad on this hero but enables reverb / spirit burn
Mystic Reverb
Stand 4 meters behind assistant and both your bolts will hit at the same time making this do 2x dmg
Spirit Burn
If they have tons of healing

Should always be the last one of these items you buy unless you're stealing seven ult every fight
