Drifter Burst — Hybrid Assassin

Hybrid assassin Drifter built around close-range burst, isolated picks and fast re-engage. Buy Lane L→R, then Core. Quicksilver Reload is imbued on Rend. Shadow Weave finds the target; Spirit Snatch + Hunter’s Aura + Tankbuster secure the kill. Late game: high Spirit Resist → lean GUN. High Bullet Resist / Metal Skin → lean SPIRIT. Defense is situational — buy what lets you survive for the second Rend.

Lane

BUY L→R. Early goal: unlock Gun + Spirit investment while building our assassin combo.

Melee Lifesteal

Early sustain. Rend/melee lets you trade aggressively and stay on lane.

Mystic Burst

Cheap early Rend burst. Keep it — upgrades into Tankbuster later.

Stalker

Key!!!Early core. Fight close, stick to your target and amplify your gun pressure.

Quicksilver Reload

IMBUE REND. Shoot → Rend → instant reload → keep shooting. Core combo item.

Healbane

Anti-heal + extra sustain on kills. Drifter applies it easily with Spirit damage.

Spirit Strike

Cheap early Spirit/melee power. Keep it — upgrades into Spirit Snatch.

Cold Front

Use after engaging to stop the target from escaping. Upgrade to Arctic Blast later if needed.

Sprint Boots

Movement for hunting and rotations. Component for Shadow Weave — don't sell.

Shadow Weave

Main engage tool. Use invis to choose the fight and get on top of an isolated target.

DefenseOptional

DON'T BUY ALL. Pick the answer to what is killing you.

Counterspell

Vs predictable key abilities. Parry the spell that would normally ruin your engage.

Spirit Resilience

Vs heavy Spirit damage. Best simple option when casters are deleting you.

Metal Skin

Vs fed gun carry. Activate when you dive and their bullets become the main threat.

Reactive Barrier

Vs stun / root / sleep / silence. Gives you a survival window when caught by hard CC.

Spirit Shielding

Cheaper anti-Spirit option. Take when you need protection now but can't afford Resilience

Dispel Magic

Vs dangerous removable debuffs. Cleanse first, then continue the fight or escape.

Mid

L->R Build the first 4 as core. Expensive upgrades after that are optional — don't delay a needed defensive item.

Spirit Snatch

Upgrade Spirit Strike. Rend III helps trigger the melee synergy — steal Spirit Resist/Power before bursting

Hunter's Aura

Core 1v1 item. Drifter wants isolated close-range fights — this makes those fights even more one-sided.

Tankbuster

Upgrade Mystic Burst. Big Rend burst, especially into healthy/tanky targets; bonus damage ignores Spirit Resist

Burst Fire

Gun DPS bridge into late game. Fire-rate helps finish targets after Rend and synergizes with Overflow.

Duration Extender

(Optional)Cheap setup for longer Mark/Ult value. Buy before upgrading into Superior Duration

Superior Duration

Upgrade Duration Extender. Longer ability/item effects = more time to hunt and finish your target

Arctic Blast

OPTIONAL Cold Front upgrade. Buy when sticking to targets is winning fights and you want stronger control.

Mercurial Magnum

OPTIONAL Quicksilver upgrade. Rend reloads you and turns the follow-up magazine into stronger hybrid damage

Late __ GUN FINISHERS

Enemy stacking SPIRIT RESIST → lean GUN. Pick 1–2, not all.

Silencer

Vs ability/Spirit carries. Fast shooting reduces their Spirit damage and eventually silences them

Spiritual Overflow

Preferred late DPS. Burst Fire helps stack it fast → Fire Rate + Spirit Power + sustain for hybrid damage

Crippling Headshot

Vs tanky/resistant targets. Headshot shreds BOTH resists and adds healing reduction for your whole combo

Frenzy

Aggressive brawl option. Take when fights get messy and you often keep fighting at low HP.

Vampiric Burst

Need sustain without giving up gun DPS? Activate during your all-in and keep shooting.

Late__SPIRIT FINISHERS

Enemy stacking BULLET RESIST / Metal Skin → lean SPIRIT. Pick 1–2, not all.

Spirit Burn

Sell Healbane. Vs high-heal / high-HP targets. Big Spirit burst triggers a strong burn and heavy healing reduction

Mystic Reverb

Rend / 1 Imbue your main damage ability when you want a much bigger Spirit burst and teamfight impact.

Boundless Spirit

Pure Spirit scaling. Buy when your Spirit side is already working and enemies are building Bullet defense

Cursed Relic

Delete one dangerous target's options: interrupt + silence + disarm + block items. Use before your team collapses on them.

Ethereal Shift

Emergency survival button. Dodge lethal burst/abilities, then come out with Spirit Power, speed and Spirit Resist

Witchmail

Aggressive anti-Spirit defense. Spirit hits reduce random ability cooldowns — great when you survive long enough for another Rend

Late__SURVIVAL

Getting bursted or chain-CC'd → buy survival before more damage. Choose for the threat. Gun → Plated Armor | Spirit burst → Spellbreaker/Witchmail | CC → Unstoppable | need raw durability → Juggernaut/Colossus

Colossus

Need raw durability in the middle of the fight. Activate after diving for both Bullet + Spirit Resist and stronger melee

Juggernaut

Vs slows + sustained gun pressure. Stay mobile while enemies shooting you lose Fire Rate.

Plated Armor

Vs bullet/on-hit carries. Best when the enemy gun build relies on repeated shots and bullet procs.

Spellbreaker

Vs Spirit BURST. Absorbs the next big Spirit hit and also gives Spirit + Debuff resistance

Inhibitor

Vs a carry you must duel. Take when reducing one enemy's ability to fight back matters more than raw defense.

Unstoppable

Vs chain CC. Activate BEFORE going in — prevents stun/silence/root/disarm from stopping your assassination
