About BuildLock

BuildLock is a free website for Valve’s hero shooter Deadlock. It is a build maker, a library of community builds, and a statistics desk, and it lives at buildlock.net.

What it does

• Build maker. Assemble a build item by item for any hero, with game-accurate stat calculations, then publish it straight into Deadlock’s in-game build browser.
• Community builds. Browse and search the builds players have published in Deadlock, for every hero.
• Hero and item pages. Base stats, abilities, win rates, pick rates and the items that win most for each hero, from BuildLock’s own match statistics, refreshed hourly.
• Stats. Hero and item win rates by queue, rank bracket and time window, the ranked ladder distribution, and which heroes are trending.

Who runs it

BuildLock is built and run by a small independent team. The same team runs DLTV (dltv.gg), the competitive Deadlock results site, and one account works on both: sign in with Steam.

Where the data comes from

Hero and item definitions follow the live game. Builds are written by their authors. Win rates and other statistics are computed by BuildLock from public match data and are refreshed hourly; sample sizes are shown wherever a figure is.
